Feb 2005 Prelim exams at the moment but now i've an 8 day break. The sun is sunning and the bike is pimped up. New gleaming saint cranks and MRP. The bike goes like a rocket, it feels soooooo good. Must go out and ride....
15th September 2004 I'm lazy and I'm busy! It's not my fault I haven't been working on the site. It's tough on my own. But the riding has been good quality stuff. Two trips to Fort Bill and another to Pitfichie have proved themselves to be extremely entertaining. The bike's held out reasonably well over the trips just fine tuning adjustment needed.

If you need your musical tastes pushed may I suggest some comedy jazz from Richard Cheese and some rock from the Scorpions

5th August 2004 Last week I was away on the cricket tour so thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it. So, after playing 7 matches in 9 days I was quite knackered but this didn't stop a quick trip to Pitfichie on Monday it makes a nice change to Scolty and was a good laugh. Also yesterday [wedneday] we took Michael to the dirt jumps and returned without a dead leg, a miricle in it's self.

Get out and go ride!!!!!

15th July 2004 It's been along time (again) but now it's summer and the sun is shining (If it's not raining) as you can see we have some of the photo's Andy took when he was up with Stu - I think some of them look well cool. All we can do now is wait for MBUK to do the artical, so keep your eyes open. Fort Bill was a spectalular event and also well done to Steve Peat on becoming the World Cup Champion for 2004!

I manage to punture the other day (obviously 1.5mm isn't enough to stop pinch flats) so a good section was done on rim only before a new tube could be thrown on.

Keep riding, keep smiling

14th May 2004 Well, I'm in the middle of exams at the mo but this hasn't stopped any ridding going on. A couple of weeks ago I had a high speed batering off acouple of trees on the wet and slippy DH. I came off with a couple of scpapes and scratches but my front brake was not so well off! I leaked almost all its brake fluid due to a bolt that unscrewed in the crash.
Out of action for the next few days thanks to this!
then two days ago Oli and I went for a blast on the DH, this tme in the dry, and you can see the video on the Movies page.
Its all good up here now and my Royal Racing Jersey came today!!! :-)
21st April 2004 The height of spring rain has come across us in the last few days but now as the weather is clearing up we'll just have to wait for the weekend. Since last time the bike has some new trickery. 823 rear wheel added along with lock-on grips . The kona Jack Sh*t pedals lived up to their name and died so chrome V8's have replaced them.

In the second week of the holidays, after the skiing, we went out afew times. One of these days we took Michael, my other brother, for a quick masterclass. We suitable injured him making his leg immoblie (Picts coming soon)...

Looking forward to some riding at the weekend and hopefully will be typing away soon....

21st March 2004 A lazy start to the day after watching the F1 in the morning could of been high on the agenda but the sun was shinning and the sound of clicking freehubs was set firmly in my mind. Must be time for some air! the jumps at drumoak had been driven over but a tractor but after a short patch-up they were just rideable. Success of the the day had to be my one-hander, my hand moved about a foot away from the bar so this was much better than previous attemps. Any bigger with the trick and I reckon you'd hit the floor with only on hand on the bar. The "shore" jump ther was well and truely cleared, at least 18 foot from take-off to landing with no hint of touching the landing ramp. Of course this was done on my hardtail so it takes it out on the legs. Knaked at the end of the day but anotheer quality day of riding was achieved.
6th March 2004 After an exhausting week of school (non-stop folio work etc.) the weekend has finally arrived. After bithday celebrations the night before Oli and I got together for a ride up scolty. When he got here the usual tinkering time was used the after an early lunch we set off. Today we did a sessioning of the freeride track lasting a couple of hours. Then we decide to start shore building (expect photos soon). The plan is for an over six foot drop out of the trees. After afew hours we had made good progress and riding looks to be happening sooner than might be expected.
tomorrow we will hopefully be meating up with Fraser Mann as he is back from Uni for Easter. Hapy riding to all!!!!

p.s. keep watching this space (wait in anticipation)

26th February 2004 Snow! Snow! Snow! You've got to love it. A day off school so you can sit back and relax. Today I've been mostly lazing about doing this and that. I archived one of our video tapes today and saw what was on there (this included Faint and You've been Framed). Also sorted out the diaries pages.
Last weekend I didn't manage to get any riding in - sob - with badminton and all. This weekend may also be the same as of the snow, but skiing may be on the agenda.
Two weeksn ago (been along time since I did a diary)we were up riding all over the place. It was the half term long weekend so a good few days of riding were in order. manage 4 out of 5 and it goes as follows: Friday - Up scolty riding with oli and my mate Ross. Saturday - Up scotly again with Oli and Chris. Sunday - badminton. Monday - can't remember. Tuesday - Chis our parents and I went for an epic ride on Kerloch. Not having a suitable bike for XC I struggled up the hills with my steel beast (including DH tubes) but motored down the hills. There were three main desents on the route. The first of these a fairly dull Landy track, but it was fast. The second was one of the best landrover tracks around. It was fast, loose, rocky, steep and had large mounds perfect for jumping or rolling it had obveous MX bike tracks. The last, after an epic push/ride up was from the top of kerloch. 400m of vertical desent awaited us. This was FAST and I had no bike worries. But this also meant the smell of danger was in the air. Half way down, at vast speeds, I was shot into a chanel with steep edges. I knew I had to get high and out of it but the rocky ground would not let me. As a large rock approached it was do or die. One final atempt to carve my way out was unsucessful and I smashed down on to the track grinding to a halt within afew metres. With my bike entangled on top of me it could have been quite serious but luckly for me I only came out with numerous scrapes and a brusied stomach. With another half of a mountain to desend the pace dropped slightly but it was still a breathtaking desent. This was followed by the roll back home and a well deserved cup of tea.
25/01/04 The past week was shattering but GREAT. To start it off my new M4 mono arrived on the Tuesday - guess what I did that evening? - but I had to wait untill saturday before I could test it out properly. This could only be the cause of some Hope(less) Hydralic moments where I grabed hold of the lever, forgetting they wern't V's, and went straight over the top in a comedy stylee.

Riding was good this weekend. Did alot on Sat. and managed some on Sunday (good considering I had badminton to battle with in the morning). See Oli's Diary for more info
10/01/04 Went on a street ride with Oli today. The revamped Scab is looking sweet after that make-over last night - DJ's up front, 321 rims and avid cable discs (Hope on its way soon). Also I finished paying for that bike of mine. And at about 5pm Oli comes up with a great idea to make a web site!

Tomorrow I dought any ridin' will be done as I'm play badminton in the morning and finishing the weavers video in the afternoon.

Listening to alot of Nickelback at the mo, humming it on my paper-round (need to pay for the bike)
Loving the DJ's on the bike
